The Electronic speed monitor or Zero speed monitor offered by IFI can be used to detecting any repetitive motion – rotational or translational. Typical applications include monitoring critical operation of material handling components such as rotary air lock valves, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, crushers, etc. It senses the over-speed/ under-speed by non-contact method and gives outputs indicating status of the monitored components. These outputs are useful for protection, control & interlocking.
